real princess stuff: ballantyne, 1964-1968

During her Ballantyne contract, she was particularly interested in resurrecting use of the intarsia machines, and moving away from the usual "fuddy-duddy" patterns on sweaters at the time. Each design required a tremendous amount of handwork, and she sat with one man, at one machine, to make each pattern shown on these intarsia samples.
