Rumi
Pacific Palisades, 1999
Paper, suede covers with Persian miniatures
"Rumi's poetry has a sensuality that I responded to with abstract visual images. The pages contain pages made of fragile joss papers, which are used for ceremonial burning. The Persian panel paintings on the covers were the catalyst in creating the book."
