"This book was commissioned by Time Slips, a creative storytelling project for people suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The texts used in the book are quotes from project participants. In a group setting the participants learn to make up creative stories, which give them a way to express their emotional experience of the disease and forestall increased dementia. The books were part of an installation, which corresponded with the opening of the play 'Time Slips' in New York City in the fall of 2001."
