The story of the Hebraica & Judaica collections is among the most dramatic and fascinating in the Library's history. It is told in detail in Robert Vosper's oral history. An entire bookstore was bought and funding was sought by Chancellor Murphy, which was given by the Cummings family. There have been many additions by curators and bibliographers.
