As noted, Charles Gant was one of the first members of the California Democratic Council to give papers to UCLA. Fuller records were given by the California Republican Assembly and much later by the CDC. Saundra Taylor contacted the CDC members who then gave papers, and she also conducted oral histories of several of these donors. CRA members have been interviewed as part of the Ronald Reagan [as governor] Era Oral History Project.
